Visit Antelope Valley Winery and Discover the Best Local Wines

People living in West Lancaster taste wine at Antelope Valley Winery. Most people don’t think of living in West Lancaster and a thriving wine culture. But that’s just because they haven’t explored this beautiful area. The Antelope Valley Winery/Donato Family Vineyard is a great place to start. All the wines available in the tasting room are made with grapes from the AVA called the Antelope Valley of the California High Desert. This AVA was established in 2010.

Come in Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. to try some of the delightful wines produced right on the West Lancaster property. Try four different wines for $12. Groups are welcome, though due to COVID-19 health regulations, there is a limit to groups of six for indoor seating or eight for outdoor seating. Order one of the ready-made charcuterie trays to go with your wine or bring your own picnic.

Locals Living in West Lancaster Enjoy the Tasting Room and Saturday Farmers Market

The winery also hosts a certified farmers market from the first Saturday in May through the last Saturday in November before Thanksgiving. The market runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Pick up super fresh local produce, eggs, fish, ready-made food from local eateries, baked goods and sweets, coffee, and handmade soap, among other items for sale. The tasting room is open during the market, so you can relax with a glass of wine after shopping.

Antelope Valley Winery also has a gift shop stocked with gourmet foods, wine accessories, and of course bottles of their wines. Check out their ready-made baskets or design your own to show off the best of living in West Lancaster.

Wine lovers should consider joining the winery’s wine club. Choose three, six, or 12 bottles per release, either red, sweet, or mixed varieties. The four release dates are in January, April, July, and October. In addition, club members get 15 to 30% off the purchase of all Antelope Valley Winery wines, discounts on food and gift purchases, and invitations to special members-only parties, among other benefits.
