See Human Natures at Moah

Spend a day away from your Acton home appreciating art at the Museum of Art and History (MOAH) in Lancaster. Human Natures is on display. These are highlights from MOAH’s permanent collection. The dates for this show are May 14th through August 21, 2022. This show celebrates the culmination of a decade of work acquiring artwork for the museum’s permanent collection. Locals are lucky to have this facility and be able to appreciate these works of art.

While viewing Human Natures, everyone can appreciate the diversity of the Antelope Valley in both identities and perspectives. Various works explore the connection between humanity and the natural world. Humans need to both connect to the natural world and differentiate themselves from it. Those who travel from their Acton home can expect to see various mediums. These include painting, assemblage, photography, and sculpture. In addition to the regular collection, pieces from the annual juried show will be on display. This show is an effort to acquire works from local artists.

Many artists are represented in Human Natures. Just a few include Alex Anderson, Justin Bower, Ann Diener, Jay Harris, Suda House, Michael Jones, Alvaro Naddeo, Melissa Reischman, Roni Stretch, Linda Vallejo, and Cathy Weiss. Many others are represented and each one has an imprint to leave on the art world.

The Museum of Art and History is located at 665 W. Lancaster Blvd. in Lancaster, CA.
