    Palmdale West real estate owners use the library onlineAlthough the inside of the building is closed, the Palmdale City Library is still serving those living in Palmdale West real estate. There are many ways to utilize the library’s resources online and appointments can also be made to pick up requested items. If you are wondering about materials that you currently still have at your Palmdale West home, all materials that have been due since the library closed to the public in March have had their due dates extended until July 1st. Other online resources available with a Palmdale City Library card include, BookPsychic, cloud Library for downloadable ebooks and eAudiobooks, Encyclopedia of American Immigration, Hoopla, Freegal, Mango Languages, The New York Times, and much more.

    Pick up Library Books Curbside for Your Palmdale West Home

    Library staff will be available by phone to answer questions and help locate materials Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 661.267.5600 to speak to someone. If you would like to pick up materials at the library, search for what you are looking for in the catalog, call to find out if the item is available, and to set up a time to pick it up. Be sure to have your library card number ready. When it is time for your appointment, come to the library with your card and pick up the items at the table at the door. WiFi can also be accessed from outside the library and there are story times available on the library YouTube channel.

    Children living in Palmdale West real estate are invited to take part in the summer reading program. This program will run from June 8th through July 31st and is a great way to get kids excited about reading over the summer. It will all start with a virtual magic show on Monday, June 8th at 1 p.m. Kids and adults can keep track of their reading all summer long and earn the chance to win prizes and be entered in raffles.
