Local Self Defence Training

Everyone living in an Acton home is invited to come to elevate their safety at a self-defense workshop. This evening of self-defense training is presented by Assemblyman Lackey, Antelope Valley Partners for Health,  and Acton Grav Maga. Women, men, and youth who are 13-17 and have a parental agreement form are welcome. There will be separate training areas for men and women. This event will take place on Friday, October 14, 2022. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, making this the perfect time to go through this training.

It’s always a good idea for anyone living in an Acton home to attend a self-defense class. These classes build confidence, teach self-respect, and help to develop a warrior spirit. It’s important to have all of these qualities when living in the world today. Learn how to stay safe and defend yourself whether you are at home or out on the town. In addition, you can network with other people attending this event and build good habits. Plus, you can get some exercise and feel good knowing that you have done something useful and healthy for your life. Don’t miss this opportunity.

This workshop will take place at Antelope Valley Partners for Health, which is located at 44226 10th St. W. in Lancaster. Antelope Valley Partners for Health strives to improve the lives of the underserved populations in the area. This organization offers many services to help those in need as well as many events throughout the year. There are programs for youth seniors and families. If you are so able, consider donating or volunteering with this organization to help make a difference in the community.
