Summer is a great season to spend time away from your Palmdale West home and at the pool. The Palmdale Parks and Recreation Department has come out with the summer 2020 program schedule and guidelines. To comply with governmental requirements, available swim times have been reduced and a strict pool capacity will be in effect. As of now, the pool is open for lap swim, senior lap swim, recreation swim, and swim lessons.
There are some new use and access requirements for all visitors. Everyone who is two and over must wear a face covering when out of the water. All guests must arrive swim ready. Locker rooms will be limited to restroom use only. No showering or changing will be allowed at the facility. Everyone must exit the pool and head back to their Palmdale West home as soon as their program ends. No seating, umbrellas, swim equipment, or workout equipment will be provided, so please bring your own. Spectators are limited to one adult per participant. Lastly, note that reservations are required for senior lap swim, lap swim, and recreational swim. These activities are limited to members only.

Keep in mind that the above mentioned policies are in effect for swim lessons as well. There are several different levels of classes available.
